About CLG Recovery

About Us

CLG Recovery focuses on online scam recovery and fraud response. We review what happened, preserve the information that may matter, map the money trail where possible, and help you understand which recovery and reporting channels may be available for your specific case.

Watch this short introduction to learn how CLG Recovery approaches online fraud cases, evidence review, transaction tracing, and recovery escalation.

A structured response after an online scam

Recovery is rarely one single action. A useful response starts with understanding exactly how the scam happened, where the money went, which institutions touched the transaction, and what evidence is still available. We organize that information into a clear case path and help you act without sending more money to the scammer.

  • We review the scam and payment trail. This may include bank transfers, card payments, crypto transactions, gift cards, payment apps, fake platforms, emails, phone numbers, websites, social profiles, and other evidence.
  • We identify practical recovery routes. Depending on the facts, this can include bank disputes, payment recalls, chargeback or fraud processes, exchange or platform reports, wallet tracing, insurer notifications, regulatory reports, law enforcement reports, or referral to an independent lawyer.
  • We help you preserve evidence. Screenshots, transaction references, wallet addresses, receipts, chat histories, emails, names, domains, phone numbers, and timelines can all be important.
  • We never need your passwords, private keys, seed phrase, PINs, or one time authentication codes. Do not give those credentials to anyone claiming they are required to recover your money.

Scam recovery services

We help with recovery efforts for all types of online scams

Below are six of the most common categories people contact us about. We also assist with many other online scam types. Your initial consultation is free, and our recovery fee is 10% only after funds are successfully recovered, taken from the recovered funds.

Our recovery process

How a scam recovery case moves forward

We build the response around the facts of your case rather than using one generic method for every scam.

1

Case assessment

You tell us what happened, how contact began, what was promised, how payment was made, and what happened when you tried to withdraw, cancel, dispute, or get your money back.

2

Evidence and transaction tracing

We organize the available evidence and review transaction details, bank references, payment processors, wallet addresses, platform records, domains, messages, and other indicators relevant to the case.

3

Recovery and escalation

We identify the channels that may still be available and help prepare the information needed for disputes, recalls, platform or exchange reports, official complaints, insurer claims, or specialist legal escalation where appropriate.

What we focus on

Recovery work built around evidence, speed, and realistic options

We do not treat every loss as automatically recoverable. We assess what can actually be done and explain the limitations as well as the opportunities.

Evidence preservation

Clear records make a case easier to report and escalate. We help organize transaction details, communications, receipts, platform records, and identifying information.

Transaction tracing

Where records allow, we follow the movement of funds through banks, processors, exchanges, wallets, payment apps, and other services to understand the route taken.

Institution escalation

We help present the case to relevant financial institutions, platforms, exchanges, regulators, law enforcement reporting channels, and other appropriate organizations.

Further-loss prevention

Many victims are targeted again by fake recovery services. We help identify common warning signs so one scam does not turn into another.

Reporting support

We help organize the facts needed for a clear complaint, including dates, payment methods, recipients, transaction references, usernames, domains, and relevant communications.

Case specific strategy

A card scam, wire fraud, crypto transfer, fake investment platform, or account takeover may each require a different response. We build the next steps around the actual transaction path.

Start your case

Three steps to begin

You do not need to have every document ready before contacting us.

1

Tell us what happened

Explain the scam, how you were contacted, the payment method, approximate dates, and whether the scammer is still communicating with you.

2

We review the recovery paths

We look at the type of transaction, available evidence, recipient details, timing, and the organizations involved.

3

Move forward with a case plan

We explain the next steps and the limits of the case before recovery or escalation work proceeds.

Common questions

Scam recovery FAQ

Clear answers about what recovery work can and cannot do.

What types of scams do you handle?

We work with all major categories of online scam, including cryptocurrency and investment fraud, forex scams, romance and dating scams, phishing, impersonation, fake exchanges, wallet draining, rug pulls, NFT scams, tech support fraud, remote access scams, online shopping fraud, fake jobs and task scams, loan fraud, gift card scams, account takeovers, and many more.

Can every scam loss be recovered?

No. Recovery depends on factors such as the payment method, timing, where the funds went, whether institutions can identify or freeze assets, available evidence, jurisdiction, and whether the recipient can be traced. We do not guarantee recovery.

What should I do immediately after discovering a scam?

Stop sending money, save the messages and transaction records, contact the bank or payment provider involved, secure any compromised accounts, and report the incident to the appropriate authorities. Do not warn the scammer about tracing or law enforcement activity if doing so could interfere with an investigation.

Can you trace cryptocurrency?

Public blockchain activity can often be analyzed using transaction hashes and wallet addresses. Tracing can help map where assets moved, but tracing alone does not give anyone the authority to seize or return funds.

Do you need my seed phrase, password, or private key?

No. We do not need your seed phrase, private keys, passwords, PINs, or one time authentication codes. Never provide these to anyone who says they are required for recovery.

Will I need to pay a tax, release fee, gas fee, or activation fee to unlock recovered money?

Be very cautious with any demand to send money to a personal wallet or unknown account to unlock supposed recovered funds. Legitimate fees should be clearly documented, tied to a real service or institution, and independently verifiable. A demand for repeated payments is a common recovery scam warning sign.

Do you work with banks, exchanges, regulators, or law enforcement?

Depending on the case, recovery work may involve preparing information for banks, payment companies, exchanges, online platforms, regulators, law enforcement reporting channels, insurers, or independent legal professionals. CLG Recovery does not control those organizations and cannot guarantee how they will respond.

What information should I have ready?

Useful information can include dates, amounts, bank or card references, wallet addresses and transaction hashes, receipts, screenshots, emails, usernames, phone numbers, websites, social profiles, contracts, and the sequence of events. Do not send passwords, private keys, seed phrases, or authentication codes.

How do I get started?

Use the WhatsApp or Telegram button on this site, or send a message through the contact form. Give a short summary of what happened and the payment method used. We can then explain what information is relevant for an initial review.

How much does CLG Recovery charge?

The initial consultation is free. CLG Recovery charges a 10% recovery fee only after funds are successfully recovered. The 10% fee is taken from the recovered funds, so there is no upfront recovery service fee.

If you lost money to an online scam, preserve the evidence and act quickly
